I am not really one to linger online, so my search for websites with ads had me frustrated. I searched things that I am interested in, such as publishing companies and auto part stores. There were no ads waiting for me on AutoZone.com or car dealerships like Carmax.com and Cadillac.com. So I dug deeper and like always, Huffington Post did not disappoint. I got two ads right there on the horoscope home page. One was advertising HuffPost (go figure), and the other was for Cognizant Artificial Intelligence and Analytics. Hmmmmm.
This does not surprise me, y'all! Websites are in cahoots with AdChoices to use little things like Cookies and other website watchers like DoubleClick to see where you have been to tailor ads just for you. When these two ads popped up I was so happy to see them. Did you know that you can sign in to Google and/or Microsoft to specify whether or not they tailor ads for you on your screens. You will still receive the same amount of ads on websites, but they may not necessarily pertain to your interests anymore. Uh, thanks Microsoft and Google! I loved the ads you sent me! You do need to enable Cookies on your web specifications to get the best results. All of the ads I saw were legitimate ads within the specifications of IAB guidelines. The following websites will allow you to log in and choose how you would like to see ads in the future.

I was hoping to see some ads for The Home Depot, especially with Halloween a few weeks away, but there was no such luck. Maybe if I visit The Home Depot websites a few more times?
